“I was embarrassed to see that it was reported in the media. Anyone other than me would have tried to save his life.”
Kim Ji-yong, kt Wiz Futures trainer, saved a life after the futures match between kt and Doosan Bears in Icheon on the 23rd.
Trainer Kim Ji-yong returned to his lodgings in Suwon after the game and was packing his things on the bus. At that moment, he found a passer-by lying in front of a restaurant opposite the two players who got off the bus first, and looked for a trainer.먹튀검증
Trainer Kim Ji-yong was stunned, but he ran straight to the patient with the thought that he had to save his life. After laying down and securing an airway, he asked an acquaintance of the patient next to him to call 119. Afterwards, he performed CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation), and when the bystander’s breathing returned stably, he continued to knead it to make him aware of the situation, and he stayed by his side until he handed it over to an ambulance.
Trainer Kim Ji-yong said, “I was really surprised to face such (emergency) situation myself. Even in the midst of my surprise, I just thought that CPR should be done. Rather, I saw that it was reported in the media, but I was embarrassed. Anyone other than me would have tried to save his life.” said.
He added, “Every year with the support of the club, trainers gather to conduct CPR training in June during the season. The training was really helpful, and I am grateful to the club for generously supporting me to receive training.”
