“I’m excited to be back.” Professional baseball LG Twins announced on the 29th that they had recruited baseball commentator Kim Jae-hyeon as a power reinforcement coordinator. New coordinator Kim has a deep relationship with LG.

After graduating from Shinil High School, he debuted in the KBO League in 1994 as a high school graduate wearing an LG uniform. He played a big role as a trio of rookies along with Lee Hae Seo Yong-bin 메이저사이트 Ryu Ji-hyun, former head coach, and helped LG win the Korean Series championship.

Coordinator Kim recorded 21 home runs and 21 stolen bases in his debut season and was named in the ’20-20′ club, and has since established himself as one of LG’s ‘signboard stars’.

He played for LG until 2004 and moved to SK Wyverns (now SSG Landers) in 2005 and retired after the 2010 season. After his retirement, he worked as a hitting coach for the Yomiuri Giants, Hanwha Eagles and the national baseball team.

He served as a baseball commentator for SBS Sports and SPOTV, and also served as a technical committee member for the Korea Baseball Organization (KBO). The LG club said, “We checked the direction of player development and established a new power-strengthening coordinator position to develop the development system.”

The club also said, “Coordinator Kim was judged to be the right person to strengthen the club’s power by acting as a bridge between the front and the field based on his experience as a national team, on-site hitting coach, and extensive baseball-related experience and knowledge as a commentator.” He explained the background of his recruitment.

Coordinator Kim plans to work for the purpose of strengthening strategic functions within the front desk, such as giving advice to the front desk and the overall team and improving the constitution.

Through the club, he said, “I’m excited to come back to LG.” He expressed his feelings.
