Hanwha Eagles’ Ha Joo-seok is set to return to the Futures League after serving his suspension.
Ha was suspended for a blood alcohol content of 0.078% in the early morning hours of November during last year’s offseason camp after he was caught drinking in his home in Dong-gu, Daejeon. The KBO Punishment Committee imposed a 70-game suspension on Ha under Article 151 of the KBO’s rules, which states that if two games are played on the 28th, the suspension will be lifted on the 29th온라인바카라.
“He hasn’t played a single game, so once his suspension is lifted, he’ll have to play for the Futures and see how he feels,” said Choi Won-ho when asked about whether or not he’d like to use him.
Speaking about Ha Joo-seok, who has been playing as the main shortstop, Choi said, “To be honest, he has the best defence in the team, but his defensive ability at shortstop is at the top of the KBO League, which is undeniable. If he can play, there’s no reason not to let him play.”
“In fact, if you expect him to hit, he needs more time. But Ha is more of a defensive player than a hitter. His defence may come sooner than we thought. I don’t think he’ll be able to play full-time as soon as he arrives, but he’ll have a short time to adapt.”
Choi added: “I need to talk to the club. If I’m ready for the first team and the club says it’s okay, I’ll use it, but if one or the other doesn’t happen, I won’t use it,” he said. “There’s been a lot of rain, but if the weather is fine and we keep playing, it might happen sooner than we think.”
