The NC Dinos and LG Twins have made a trade before the start of the second half.

NC and LG agreed to a one-for-one trade on April 18, sending outfielder Choi Seung-min (27) and pitcher Chae Ji-seon (28). Both clubs scratched an itch. NC needed bullpen help and LG needed a pinch-hitter.

Choi joined the organization in 2015 as a developmental player. He appeared in 44 games for the first team last year, batting .324 (34-for-11). This season, he did not play in the first team, but only in the Futures (second division) league. In the second division, he batted .239 (16-for-67). The LG Baseball Organization said, “We evaluate her ability to perform operations as a pinch hitter and expect her to be of great help to the team in the late game.스포츠토토

Chae was drafted by the Doosan Bears with the eighth overall pick in the second round of the 2015 KBO Draft. He donned the LG uniform in March 2021 in a trade that included pitcher Ham Deok-ju, and the deal brought him to NC. He appeared in one game for the first team this season, pitching two-thirds of an inning of scoreless relief. In the second team, he went 2-1 with a 3.63 ERA in 17 games. For his career, he has a 4.00 ERA in 55 games.

NC head coach Lim Sun-nam said, “He has a good fastball and a variety of pitches. We are looking forward to strengthening the depth of our pitching staff, especially in the bullpen.”
