Kyrie Irving, the veteran guard who will become a free agent at the end of the season, has a message for fans.

According to Sports Illustrated, Irving took to Instagram Live on Friday to share a message with fans about his upcoming free agency.

“I’ll be a free agent this summer, but I’m not going to rush the decision,” Irving said, according to the report. “The media will mention my name and name teams that are supposed to be destinations. Please, please, please don’t pay attention to those reports,” he said, urging people to ignore the rumors.

“People have misused my name,” he said. There have been a lot of stories about me in the past that were not true. I’m confident in my truth,” he said, adding that he has been plagued by numerous false rumors about him in the past.

“Please refrain from mentioning my name on Twitter. The conference finals are still going on. Can you please leave me alone? My free agency is even being mentioned at my dinner table. I’m seeing all of your comments. I’m just as excited as you are. But I need to keep my cool,” he added.

The Rookie of the Year in 2011-12, eight-time All-Star, three-time All-NBA selection, and 2016 Finals champion with the Cleveland Cavaliers will be looking for a new team this offseason.

Traded from the Brooklyn Nets to the Dallas Mavericks during the season, he appeared in 60 games for both teams, averaging 27.1 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 5.5 assists.스포츠토토

Despite his performance, Dallas failed to make the playoffs. Local media are calling re-signing him a top priority for Dallas this offseason.

Dallas has negotiating priority. They have two days after the NBA Finals to hold contract discussions.

They will be able to negotiate with prospects starting on June 30, local time, and sign them on July 6.
