The world No. 3 pair had earlier in the day defeated No. 1 seeds Nami Matsuyama and Chiharu Shida of Japan 2-0 (21-16, 21-17) in the quarterfinals. The Malaysia Masters is part of the Badminton World Federation (BWF) World Tour Super 500 Series.
Lee So-hee and Baek Ha-na, who have been playing together since late last year, won the German Open in March. At the subsequent Korea Open, the pair reached the final, but had to settle for runner-up honors to Kim So-young (Incheon International Airport) and Gong Hee-yong (Jeonbuk Bank).메이저놀이터
Lee So Hee and Baek Ha Na will face Malaysia’s Puli Tan-Tina Muralitharan, ranked 11th in the world, for the title.
In the men’s doubles, world No. 16 Seo Seung-jae (26, Korea Armed Forces Athletic Corps) and Kang Min-hyuk (24, Samsung Life) defeated world No. 7 Takuro Hoki and Yugo Kobayashi of Japan 2-1 (21-18, 12-21, 21-16) to reach the final. Their final opponents will be Malaysia’s Man Wei Chong-Kai Un Tee, ranked 26th in the world.
