Seodaemun-gu, Seoul, will host a 3-on-3 street basketball tournament in Yeonsero-ro, Sinchon, on Wednesday afternoon, the district’s mayor, Lee Sung-heon, said.

The tournament, organized by the Korea 3-on-3 Basketball Federation, will be held from 3 to 9 p.m. on the 3rd at a special court on Yeonsero-ro in Sinchon. A total of 12 teams will compete for the title, including three teams from the men’s college division, high school and senior high school division, and women’s college division. Students from Kyungpook National University, Myeongji University, Yonsei University, Ewha Womans University, Gajae Ulgo, Inwangjung University, and Inchangjung University will participate, and the first through third place teams will receive local currency, Seodaemun Sarang vouchers.

The tournament will also feature an event game in which teams consisting of one Seodaemun-gu Women’s Basketball Team player and two members of the public will compete. There will also be 1-on-1 and 2-on-2 basketball games for middle and high school students. In the evening, a variety of events were organized, including live performances by famous DJs.
