Korean-American major leaguer Rob Refsnyder (Boston Red Sox) came through with a clutch RBI single to lead his team to a come-from-behind victory.

Lefthander, batting first and starting in left field, went 2-for-3 with a double, two RBIs, two runs scored and a walk on Friday (July 15) against the Colorado Rockies at Fenway Park in Boston, Massachusetts, USA.

Lefsnider led off the game with a single. He then stole second base when Justin Turner walked. Turner was retired on a grounder to third, but Alex Verdugo followed with an RBI single. Lefsnider scored to give Boston the lead.

The Red Sox gave up a run in the top of the sixth, but came back in the bottom of the seventh. Enrique Hernandez and Tristan Casas led off with back-to-back singles. A walk to Connor Wong loaded the bases and brought in Jared Duran to pinch-hit for Casas. Pablo Reyes followed with a sacrifice fly to tie the game.

With runners on first and second and one out, Lefsnider came to the plate. With two on and two out, Lefseider pushed a six-pitch sinker from Brent Suter. The pitch was headed toward right fielder Nolan Jones, but Jones couldn’t catch it. The ball dropped behind him and both runners came home. Lefsnider advanced to third. Lefsnyder’s two-run triple put the game out of reach. Turner and Verdugo followed with RBI singles.

Colorado had runners on first and third with no outs in the top of the ninth. Randall Grichuk singled and Ryan McMahon reached on a fielder’s choice, but Harold Castro struck out to end the game and give Boston a 6-3 victory.

“Honestly, it feels good to have Duran at third base,” said Lefseider after the game, “I wanted to get the ball to the outfield, and I was grateful that the pitch went to the outfield. I knew then that Duran was going to score, but Jones missed the throw. A triple is much better than a sacrifice fly.”

Boston lost its second straight game to Colorado, but avoided a sweep by winning the final game of the three-game set. After a day off, the Red Sox will open a three-game series against the New York Yankees.메이저놀이터

“Honestly, we should have won this game,” said Lefsnider. It wouldn’t have felt good to get swept and then have an off day. It’s better to get a win and then have an off day.” “That motivates us to play the Yankees. We have to play better,” he said.

“We need to win the series and win the game. Our winning percentage is less than 5 percent. We feel like we’re close (to a 5 percent winning percentage), but hopefully we can keep going and get more wins.”
